Log Specifications

LOG SPECIES:   Douglas Fir, Hemlock, White Fir, Spruce, and Pine

• Diameters: Minimum 5” inside bark on small end, No maximum.

• Lengths: 12’ 8” to 40’ 10”, 2’ multiples.

• Trim requirements: 8” added length for 12’-20’; 10” added for 22’-40’.

• Preferred Lengths:
• 16’-20’-32’-36’-40’ plus trim
• 24’10” lengths, over 12” top diameter and straight with minimal defect.

• Quality: Sawlog quality, capable of machine manufacturing, with no burned wood, metal or other foreign material

 

LOG SPECIES:  Western Red Cedar

• Diameters: Minimum 6” inside bark on small end, No maximum.

• Lengths: 16’ to 40’

• Trim requirements: 12” added length for 12’-28’; 15” added for 30’-40’.

• Preferred Lengths: 18’-24’-32’-36’-40’ with trim.

• Quality: Sawlog quality, capable of machine manufacturing, with no burned wood, metal or other foreign material.

 

The Everson Log Yard hours are from 7:00 am to 4:30 pm, Monday through Friday.  Payment cut-off days are the 15th and last day of each month.
